Vorgehensweise:

1/ Downloaden Sie die "Firmware_X_X_X_X.zip" und entzippen Sie diese in ein Verzeichnis Ihrer Wahl.

2/ Verbinden Sie das Ladegerät mit dem GIGA Vu PRO evolution (GVE) und laden Sie den Akku vollständig auf.

3/ Lassen Sie das Gerät nach dem Aufladen der Batterie abkühlen. Wir empfehlen ca. 30 Minuten zu warten, bis Sie das Gerät einschalten.

4/ Kopieren Sie den Inhalt des Ordners "Part 1" auf eine Compact Flash Karte. 

Die Compact Flash Karte sollte keine anderen Dateien in ihrem Datenverzeichnis enthalten.

5/ Schieben Sie die Compact Flash Karte in das Gerät.

6/ Schalten Sie das GVE ein. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Akku während des gesamten Firmware Upgrades geladen wird.

7/ Das Gerät zeigt Ihnen an, dass das Upgrade durchgeführt wird.

Am Ende des Firmware Upgrades schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch ab. Wenn nicht, ist das Upgrade eventuell fehlgeschlagen.
Der erste Upgrade Vorgang dauert ca. 30 Sekunden.

8/ Kopieren Sie den Inhalt des Ordners "Part 2" auf eine Compact Flash Karte.

Die Compact Flash Karte sollte keine anderen Dateien in ihrem Datenverzeichnis enthalten.

9/ Schieben Sie die Compact Flash Karte in das Gerät.

10/ Schalten Sie das GVE ein. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Akku während des gesamten Firmware Upgrades geladen wird.

11/ Das Gerät zeigt Ihnen an, dass das Upgrade durchgeführt wird.

12/ Am Ende des Firmware Upgrades schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch ab. Wenn nicht, ist das Upgrade eventuell fehlgeschlagen.
Der zweite Upgrade Vorgang dauert ca. 10 Minuten.

* Jobo GigaVu Pro Evolution upgrade procedure *
***********************************************

Procedure:

1/ Unzip "Firmware_X_X.zip" in a directory of your choice

2/ Connect the power adapter to the GVPe device, and fully charge the battery

3/ Switch off the device and let it cool down.
Suggested time is 30 minutes

4/ Copy the content of the folder "Part 1" to a Compact Flash card.

The Compact Flash card should not contain any other files in its root directory

5/ Power off the GVPe device

6/ Insert the Compact Flash card

7/ Power on the GVPe. Ensure there is power during the FW upgrade cycle

8/ The device will indicate there is a FW upgrade ongoing

At the end of the FW upgrade the device powers off. If the device does not
power off eventually the upgrade has failed.
The whole upgrade procedure takes about 30 sec.

9/ Power off the GVPe

10/ Copy the content of the folder "Part 2" to a Compact Flash card.

The Compact Flash card should not contain any other files in its root directory

11/ Insert the CF card

12/ Power on the GVPe. Ensure there is power during the FW upgrade cycle

13/ The device will indicate there is a FW upgrade ongoing

14/ At the end of the FW upgrade the device powers off. If the device does not
power off eventually the upgrade has failed.
The whole upgrade procedure takes about 10 min.
