REPLACING BLACK RETAINING
CLIPS
ON THE JOBOLIFT
This bulletin will instruct you how to replace the black retaining clips (our part #93040 or 92157) on your JOBO Lift (manufactured after 1993).
The tool required to perform this repair is:
A #1 Phillips screwdriver.
The required parts are:
- ATL-1000 and ATL-1500 Black Retention Clip, part #93040, sold individually.
- CPP/A JOBO Lifts and all other ATL's Black Retention Clip, part #92157, sold in pairs.
Recommended JOBO Refurbishment Kit:
1 x JoboLift Refurbishment kit for JoboLifts with black retention clips (JOBO Part # LIFT_REFURB-2). The refurbishment kit contains black retention clips, transfer gears, grease for transfer gears, rollers, lift arm grease, red cap with bar, and installation directions for the black retention clips.
NOTE: The removal of your JOBO
Lift is not necessary to perform this repair.
1) Remove the two Phillips screws that hold the clip in position.
2) Install the new retention clip by installing the screws removed in step 1.
Only one retention clip is used in ATL-1000's and ATL-1500's.
One pair of retention clips are used in the ATL-1, ATL-2, ATL-2 PLUS, ATL-2000, ATL-3000, and ATL-2X00, if the new style lift arm has been installed. Models produced after 1993 should have the new style lift arm already installed.
